Grief doesn’t just live in our minds. It lives in our bodies.
The tight chest. The heavy stomach. The shoulders that feel like stone.
Body Grief Work helps release what the body has been holding onto ... the parts of grief that words can’t reach.
This work combines gentle movement, focused breathing, and guided stillness. It’s not yoga, and it doesn’t require flexibility or a certain level of fitness. Everything can be done from a chair, fully clothed, in a quiet space.
You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to show up and breathe.
Each online session begins with grounding and guided breathing to help you come back into your body. From there, we move gently- simple motions that release tension and bring awareness to where grief has settled. A guided meditation helps the body and mind settle even more deeply, allowing space for calm and release.
You can do this work on your own or join a small group. Cameras can stay on or off. You can share what you feel, or stay silent. There is no right way to do this ... only your way.
Most people feel lighter, calmer, or more peaceful when the session ends.
